Festival Season is starting. Coachella signals the start of the festival season and the summer. With the weather being so beautiful and our glastonbury tickets bought we are looking forward to decking out all you lovely girlies and boys in our baltic goodies! PRIVATE VIEW SUCCESS! Well it all went down well with people exchanging items with us and the gallery was so busy we could hardly keep up with the demand - thats me and Anna stuck in the corner working :)

Anna and Ian have arrived and have come with the rag and bone cart! The private view and press is tommrow and we are getting really excited (not so excited a beer costs 7euro though) check out the new addition of the hobo cart below ! ( mean BA refused it as hand luggage though )

The show is getting going whoooo and we are excited! after months of hard work and prep its our time to shine - underneath is the first photo of our hobo suitcase with items to be taken and exchanged. Free Art you say !? Why yes, but only if you are in Turku Finland

First of all HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
Its been yonks since we last wrote but its all good ! We have been busy organising an overseas exhibition in the Finnish capital of culture Turku. We are heading over there next week Yaeeee and will be exhibiting from the Thursday onwards! There will be photos up soon! wish us luck xxxx

Above The Beaten Track is a festival celebrating the creative grass roots scene of Liverpool, featuring live music and DJs, performance art, poetry and audio-visual spectaculars - shedding a bit of light on Liverpool's cultural underground, all in a relaxed festival-like atmosphere.

Baltic are proud to announce that they will be taking part in The Wonderland Fashion Weekend in Liverpool.
The event, taking place over 2 days, the 1st and 2nd May 2010, celebrates the culture of fashion in Liverpool throughout the decades.
Wonderland aims to place different types of fashion on an equal platform, and present the public with an array of exciting events. Alongside supporting fashion and style in Liverpool, the event will be fundraising on behalf of the Alder Hey Children's hospital "Imagine Appeal".

Baltic took part in the weekly Saturday Fashion Market in Manchester. It was a great day and thanks to everyone who came and visited us hopefully we will be back again soon

Baltics had a very busy few weeks. We recently took part in Arenas annual charity auction where are piece was sold to Minoko and Ian Jackson who run Art in Liverpool. They are the proud owners of the first of many original Baltic artworks.
Baltic also made it to Ladies Day at Aintree Races, where we were given top marks for our original style.

After the success of Scousey Couture and a hugh delivery of new things for us to make baltic is feeling really inspired.. it may have something to do with the novel 'The invention of Hugo Cabret' A fantastic grapgic novel filled with cogs rusty keys and all the things Baltic love. Its also tipped to be becoming a movie.
